Corporate Social Responsibility
Reale Seguros has spontaneously developed a business approach closely aligned with the business practices that characterise Corporate Social Responsibility today.
By its very nature as a mutual company, Reale Mutua also has a markedly social understanding of its business. Moreover, as a defining element of its corporate identity, it has adopted high ethical standards in the development of its insurance business, reflected in its Code of Ethics, which is mandatory for all companies of the group.
This aspect of Reale Mutua's culture has permitted the actions of its Spanish subsidiary, Reale Seguros. Hence, the launch of the Reale Challenge in 2007 required specifying and clarifying Reale's Mission and the Values that conform its Corporate Culture. These Values constitute a commitment to all stakeholders of the company, thus requiring coherent and systematic implementation in all dimensions of Reale's business, in terms that are fully consistent with the CSR approach.
For Reale, CSR is a free and coherent commitment that is sincerely adopted and expressed in the everyday nature of the actions of its executives and employees when making decisions and interacting, directly or indirectly, with all stakeholders.
Reale sees CSR as the voluntary integration in the company's strategy and operations of social and environmental commitments affecting its relations with the community and its stakeholders.
For Reale, its first responsibility to the community in which it operates and to its stakeholders is to ensure the continuity of the company and, consequently, to achieve sustainable results allowing it to meet the needs of its clients, generate wealth and jobs, contribute to the development of its employees and give back to Reale Mutua. Excellence in business management is thus an essential part of this approach to CSR.
